The various techniques that they can use are individualized instruction which is one on one time with your child. It will help the child to focus and have more individualized instruction. Thr progam will develop as the child develops and can include job training.
They may also put your child in a small group of other students to do small-group work. Small-group work is a great way to engage your child with other children while the learn.
Another great technique when helping children with special needs to have them work with problem solving. When children are given a problem to solve, rather than just a list of times tables they are more likely to have an easier time concentrating. Giving them a specific thing to do with a specific answer really tests their skills.
The most important thing that your child’s teacher can do is to understand where you child is developmentally. They will need to only give out assignments and homework that your child is capable of doing. Just like every other child, when given something that is difficult and they are not ready for, you child will become frustrated or discouraged.
